Welcome to 3tc, Merseyside Third Sector Technology Centre

3tc is a not-for-profit technology charity committed to providing Merseyside's Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS) with equal access to Information Communications Technology (ICT). Our aim is to help all sections of society gain in confidence by using ICT, including hard-to-reach groups and people living in disadvantaged communities. Based in Waterloo, 3tc has local knowledge of the Merseyside area. We offer a comprehensive range of ICT goods and services to frontline VCFS organisations and individuals including:

ICT Services

We can supply all your hardware, peripherals, software and other needs. Our Microsoft certified engineers can recommend, quote, supply and install ICT solutions tailored to your individual requirements. To supplement this 3tc offers a fast, friendly and efficient technical support service to ensure you get the best out of your investment.

ICT Training

Take advantage of our flexible range of ICT training packages and realise the new opportunities that technology brings. We can offer simple taster courses to get people started, one day bespoke courses in popular 'Office' programmes, specialist training right the way through to accredited courses such as the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL), Information Technology Qualification (ITQ) and the British Computer Society's new Digital Skills qualification.

Conference Rooms

3tc House's recently refurbished main conference room is ideal for that important Board meeting, special event, 'away day' or training session and comes with the benefit of an interactive SMART Board, ceiling mounted projector and wall mounted speakers. Our modern ICT Training Suite is also available for hire containing flat screen PC's with broadband internet connections.

Web Solutions

Everybody's website needs are different. 3tc recoginses this and offers a range of solutions from simple designs to complete Content Management Systems (CMS). Better still all our websites can be edited quickly and easily by using your browser of choice e.g. such as Internet Explorer or Firefox without the need for expensive web authoring software.  

Office Space

Base your business in 3tc House and enjoy a reception area, managed office space and ample car parking facilities. Easy access is available to our ICT Services, meeting rooms, ICT Training Department and Web Solutions services.

3tc Solutions Limited

Through our trading arm 3tc Solutions Limited, these and other services are made available to the public and private sector as well individual members of the public. Any profits made are re-invested to provide the charity with the capacity to help provide equality of access to ICT and thus help combat the divide between the digital 'haves' and 'have nots'. New business activity includes the trading arm's Virtual Office facilities for South Sefton business start-ups and small businesses. 3tc and Corporate Social Responsibility

As a progressive charity we also take our Corporate Social Responsibilities extremely seriously. We regularly review our operations to maximise  benefits and minimise any adverse effects. We employ locally trained, technically qualified staff that can offer appropriate levels of ICT support and training. 3tc rejects the one-size fits all approach and instead offers bespoke solutions. These take into account customers different needs and individual requirements.
